Target Species on Gulfstream / Deep Water Charters = 11.5hrs

Every Gulfstream Charter brings a new mix of opportunity. Some days, Mahi swarm weed lines and floating debris. Other times, Tuna school up over deep water, or a Wahoo streaks through the spread. We target what’s biting, but these are the main players:

  • Mahi-Mahi: Known for wild jumps and fast runs, these fish hit hard and light up the deck with color.
  • Blackfin Tuna: Schooling fish that attack baits with speed and keep the action steady.
  • Yellowfin Tuna: Larger, tougher, and found farther out where the water turns cobalt blue.
  • Wahoo: Built for speed, they crush lures and test every knot and drag setting.
  • Sailfish and Marlin: Billfish that demand skill and patience, showing up during peak months for those ready to battle.
  • King Mackerel: Aggressive around structure, always ready to chase a live bait or fast lure.

We don’t stick to one tactic. Our approach shifts with the bite, and we’re always ready to switch gears when the fish do. Offshore charters around St. Augustine often require adapting to changing conditions and fish behavior.

What You Get on an Offshore Charter

Stepping onto the boat, you’re part of the crew. We handle the route, gear, and tactics, but when a rod bends, it’s your fight. Offshore fish pull hard and don’t quit. Expect a workout, a rush of adrenaline, and the kind of stories that stick. We provide everything - bait, tackle, fishing license, First Mate, and fish cleaning. You bring food, drinks - Catering is available, sunscreen, sunglasses, and layers for changing weather conditions. Because we do not charge for fishing cleaning, tipping is customary at 10-20%.

Whether you’re new to offshore or have years on the water, we make sure you’re ready for the action. Many of our guests from St. Augustine, NE FL locations, GA, all over the US, and world, return year after year for the challenge and excitement.
