We had a delightful day on the water with Captain Rob! All the boats were having a slow day - and Captain Rob was persistent in finding the fish- extending our time out by an hour! We did catch a couple of nice sheepshead along with several others.

My son was in town and wanted to fish, so we booked an inshore fishing trip with Jody Lynn Charters. Captain Robert knows the waterways well and took us straight to the fish. When bites weren’t turning into catches, he gave tips to improve our chances of landing the fish. One of the best parts was Robert’s willingness to put us on fish. If bites slowed down in one spot, he moved us to another prime location which meant we caught a nice variety of fish. If you’re looking for the absolute best on the water, look no further than Captain Dalton and his First Mate Jacob. These two are an angler’s dream team and the gold standard for what a fishing charter should be. I’ve been on countless charters over the years and have over a decade of experience working in the maritime industry myself. So when I say this crew is exceptional, I mean it. From the moment we stepped aboard Jodie Lynn Charters, Captain Dalton and Jacob delivered professionalism, safety, and true mastery of their craft. Their knowledge of the waters is unmatched, and their attentiveness to every guest made the entire trip smooth, exciting, and incredibly memorable. And let me say, these guys worked their butts off the entire trip. They never stopped moving, rigging, baiting, coaching, and keeping us on fish from start to finish. We were catching fish left and right, limiting out on multiple species. The highlight of the day came when Captain Dalton called out, “Drop now!” just as a huge school passed beneath us. Within seconds, everyone had a rod bent over at once. It turned into this hilarious, chaotic ballet of lines crossing, reels screaming, and all of us laughing while Captain Dalton and Jacob calmly coached us through the madness like they’d done it a thousand times. We landed every single fish. It was one of those moments you talk about for years. We always had fresh bait, new techniques to try, and more action than we ever expected. This team is like no other. I would go to sea with Captain Dalton and Jacob any day, without hesitation. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure and we’ll absolutely be requesting this crew again.

As I said in my earlier review I'd be back. Another AWESOME Fishing adventure. First thanks to Captain Rob for having a perfect boat & Crew for our party of six. Captain Chase and Mate Jake busted their tails to make our trip memorable. Our hooks always seemed to have bait or fish on them.

I feel compelled to offer my thoughts on our recent Deep Sea Fishing trip on the Jodie Lynn on 8-5-23. The trip far and away exceeded my hopes and expectations. Captain Chase and mate Corey were simply outstanding. Caught a lot of fish which is nice but to watch the sheer delight and excitement of my family and friends while reeling in fish touched my heart. I want to sincerely thank Captain Rob for putting this great team together. I will be back. First Rate outfit!!

Booked an in-shore fishing trip for my husband. Jodie Lynn Charters was a great experience! This was a perfect surprise for Father’s Day. Booking was so easy! Location was easy to find! A trip with Captain Rob is perfect for new beginners or avid fishermen.

My husband brought back a net full of fish. They were filleted on site so we could bring them back to our vacation rental. So easy!
